Made in Cumbria are features of various things to go to make up our bed and breakfast in The Lake District. From the bed rooms to our garden, the food, beer, spirits and our food supplies- many originate in Cumbria
The garden is beginning to look stunning with wonderful locally made hanging baskets made by Michael and he’s even made us a Bug House!
In our bed rooms and lounge the chairs and stools have been upholstered by Mary.
In the bedrooms, the hand and cream lotions are from Pure Lakes a local company in Staveley and tea leaves from New Tea Leaf tasters.
On arrival enjoy some locally made marshamallows and fudge
Talking of Staveley, we offer local beers such as those from Hawshead Brewery– where you can go on brewery tours or go to The Lakes Distillery– discount vouchers are in your information pack in your bed rooms- where you can do a tour, eat in their restaurant, buy some of their gin or vodka or just order at glass with us
At breakfast enjoy Mary’s home made marmalade, organic eggs from Lakeland Eggs, smoked bacon from Staveley or our home made croissants or minted Hollandaise sauce with an Eggs Benedict…..
