There’s so much wonderful wildlife to see in the Lake District – and so many of our guests seem to be talented photographers.
So we’re running a competition for them. And anyone who stays here can enter.
The rules are straightforward. Your submitted photo must represent wildlife anywhere in Cumbria or North Lancs, taken while you were staying at 1 Park Road.
It might be birds and dragonflies at Eycott Hill Nature Reserve, seals near Walney island, tadpoles in Lily Tarn on Loughrigg, butterflies in the gardens at Holehird, or a deer spotted early morning.
The choice is yours and the boundaries are flexible. You can submit up to five photos for each of your stays here with us. Just email them to an address which you’ll be given when you stay here.
In the autumn – at the end of October – we will judge them, assisted by wildlife photographer Michelle Waller from the Cumbria Wildlife Trust. The winner will receive a free two-night midweek stay here for two people.
Good luck, and happy snapping!
