You’re never bored in the Lake District
We’re blessed with some stunning scenery for much of the activity to focus on walking, climbing and the great outdoors. But there is much much much more to the Lake District than this: festivals, restaurants, gardens, sporting events of all kinds, workshops, exhibitions to name but a few. Here is our diary of events in The Lake District all within easy reach of our bed and breakfast in the Lake District if you don’t fancy walking up a hill!
We haven’t included the weekly events such as bird watching at Brockholes, evening cruises on Lake Winderemere, farmers markets or regular guided walks across Morecambe Bay!
